  • Meghan Rogalus of the Bucks County Conservation District showcases a special volunteer event called 'Paddle with a Purpose' that is helping to reduce the population of invasive water chestnut in Lake Towhee, located in southeastern Pennsylvania.
  • Mary Walsh of the Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program highlights several invasive species to be on the lookout for in the Lake Erie Watershed including porcelainberry, lesser celandine, European frog-bit, and yellow floatingheart, among others.
  • Kristopher Abell of the Pennsylvania Governor's Invasive Species Council discusses the current efforts of this group, highlighting one of the Council's big initiatives to design, create, and fund a statewide invasive species management program.
  • Joseph Hudson of the Erie County Conservation District delves into the history of the Secchi disk, discussing how this simple tool used to measure water clarity has a distinct relationship with invasive species.
